What we collect

Tracker cases: the dates and case details you enter (agency, retirement date, milestones, and similar). We never ask for your name, Social Security number, or login — there are no accounts. Your tracker link is an unguessable URL; anyone you give it to can see that case, so treat it like a key. Your CSA number, if you enter it, is masked on screen by default.
Email addresses: only when you give one — for tracker-link recovery, the waitlist, or Kit delivery. Used for exactly that purpose. No marketing list you didn’t ask for, and we don’t sell or share addresses. If you subscribe to updates — the monthly backlog number, ship notices, or the free decoder — that address is stored with Resend, our email provider, used only for what you signed up for, and every email includes a way out.
Payments: checkout is handled by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we receive the payment confirmation and the email you used, so we can deliver the Kit.
Analytics: we run our own first-party page analytics (visit counts, pages viewed, a random visitor identifier). No advertising trackers, no third-party ad pixels, no cross-site anything.
Benchmarks: if you opt in to contribute your timeline, it’s stored without your name and used only in aggregate — and only shown when enough cases exist to keep any one case unidentifiable.

No selling or renting your data. To anyone. Ever.
No access to OPM systems — everything here is what you enter plus public OPM data.
No third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
